Dear Valued Customers,

We know these times are challenging but we have seen many bright spots along the way.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen the sewing community come together like never before. We learned healthcare workers and those working on the frontlines are in desperate need of supplies, so we have turned our attention to our stashes and are whipping out masks by the bags full. Amazing work!

So let us help you!
Holly’s Quilt Cabin is offering while supplies last
45% off these selected batik fabrics below:
(no other discounts apply)

Batiks are a great source for masks because of their tighter weave and thread-count

Before construction, all fabric should be pre-washed in HOT water to remove any chemicals and dyes that remain.

We can all make it through quarantine together and what better way than by helping others.

Here are a few face mask resources:
UCHealth:
Please email Susan M. about their donation process.
CDC:
Guidelines and patterns how the mask should cover the face.
Colorado Mask Project:
Includes resources and tutorials to make sure every Coloradan has a mask to wear.
Operation We Can Sew It:
This pattern has been developed with St. Joseph Hospital in Denver to meet their medical staff needs. As of 3/22/2020 they don’t need any more masks but it is still a great pattern resource.

Please keep in mind that if you are making masks for medical professionals, hospitals may have specific guidelines to what they may or may not accept. We urge you to do your research before jumping in.

We wish you all Good Health and Happy Sewing!
